Hollywood 1 : 2 Comber Rec II's

League

Millar Time

The 3rds made the short trip to Holywood last Tuesday night for a league
match and came away with a well deserved win. From the start it looked as if
Holywood had fielded their 1st/2nd eleven as most of the Holywood players
who had played last year were training! Comber took a while to settle but
when they did they started to create several good chances. The boys should
have been 1 up at half-time,Stevie Hanna once again putting himself forward
as a contender for the coveted "Specsavers"award, but it was 0-0 at
half-time.

In the 2nd half it was more of the same but Comber were hit with
a sucker punch and found themselves a goal down. This was H,woods first shot
on target and it resulted in a goal. With 30 mins to go it was now Millar
time.On came Colin Millar with instructions to score the equalliser and the
winner and the lanky forward oblidged. Gary Bennett found Andy James who
drove into the box and when the keeper failed to hold his shot Milldog
levelled. 5mins later the "Dog" put Comber in front after stirling work from
Stevie Hanna, a lead that Comber never lost. A special mention must be given
to young Stuart Hanna, who at only 14 made his debut and never put a foot
wrong. There is no truth in the rumour that Stuart is Stevie's grandson.
