Match Report Moat Park Rangers 1 : 1 Comber Rec League 22th December 2007

Comber were at home to Moat park rangers in their last game before christmas. They ended up drawing the game 1-1, but it was a match that they should have won. When playing a yappy shower like mpr a strong referee is needed but today it was not the case. David Boal was head butted, (a straight red) the ref took no action, yet Darren Massey was booked for his first challenge! The only thing to be said is that I would hate to be playing them without an independant official! Comber had most of the play but are still lacking the killer touch in front of goal. Adam Whiteside put the rec in front with a strike from 20 yds, the keeper should have saved it but he was in the festive mood and gifted Comber the lead. The boys should have gone on to finish mpr of but they didn't  and in the 2nd half mpr levelled with probably their only chance of the match.
