Nicky Cowdy (Goalkeeper) Age 25. A home grown talent, Nicky has played at all levels within the club. He has taken his opportunity in this seasons Border Cup due to the 1st team regular goal keeper Brian Burgess being cup tied and has put in some impressive performances.

Adam Welsh (Forward) Age 16. The youngest of the players, this is Adams first season in the senior squad. Attends Regent House and has a bright future in front of him. Scored the winner at Sport & Leisure in Round 3.

Gareth Larmour (Defender) Age 30. An experienced defender Gareth is in his first season with the Rec. after spells with Ards, Bangor, H&W Welders Brantwood and Knockbreda. He has a Smirnoff Cup winner’s medal with the Welders.

Peter Kelly (Defender) Age 25. Apart from one season with Killyleagh, with whom he won an Amateur League Premier Section winners medal Peter has played all his football at Comber and has been a stalwart defender over the years. Has twice won representative honours with the Amateur League.

Ian Maitland (Defender) Age 32. After spells with Carrick, Brantwood, Bangor and Knockbreda, lan’s first season at Comber has been marred by a serious knee injury from which he is making steady progress and expects to start training in the near future.

Keith Dougherty (Defender) Age 23. In his third season at Comber: Keith is a classy defender who likes to get forward in support of his front men. Had I spellil^with Disullerv. Had spells with Distillery, Larne and Ards.

Craig McGraeken (Forward) Age 27. Craig started his career at Comber, before moving on to play in the Irish League where he had spells with Linfield, Ards, and Glenavon. Arguably the most skifull player in the squad he has started to find his goal scoring touch again.

Neil Magowan (Defender) Age 25. Another home grown talent, Neil had spells at Ards and Glenavon. He has won representative honours at under 16 and 18 for Northern Ireland and also with the Amateur League.

Kevin Monson (Forward) Age 26. Kevin's first season at Comber. Has played in the Welsh league with Treffortest F.C. and Pontyprid whilst at university. Keeps defenders on their toes.

Marty Robinson (Midfielder) Age 24. Second season in current spell at Comber, Marty is an industrious and hard working player who can score important goals. Previous clubs include Distillery, Bangor and Knockbreda.

Jim McCloskey (Midfielder) Age 35. Captain, and most influential player in the side, Jim leads by example and can score vital goals. Experienced league football in England with Colchester Utd. Also, played for Glentoran, Bangor, Glenavon, Larne and Distillery. Has won two Irish League 1st Division winners medals two Ulster Cup winners medals and  a 'B' Division winners medal.

Gordon Leckey (Forward) Age 29. Second spell at Comber Gordon has also played for Saintfield, Knockbreda, and Killyleagh. His never say die attitude keeps defenders busy and he has now started to the find the net on a regular basis.

Tim Ritchie (Defender) Age 18. At 18 one of the ‘babes’ in the squad but his age belies his skill and ability. Has played for Ards and Knockbreda and represented Co. Down  in the Milk Cup.

Ben Gourley (Midfielder) Age 19. Ben has come through the youth system at Comber and is now starting to show his potential. Has represented Northern Ireland at schoolboy level.

Ross Hagan (Midfielder) Age 31. A very experienced hard tackling and no nonsense midfielder Ross is in his second full season at the club. Has had experience with Glentoran, Ards and Distillery. He has two Irish League 1st division winners’ medals and an Ulster Cup winners medal.

Craig Bowers (Midfielder) Age 28. His second spell with the club. Craig previously played for Ards, Bangor, and Knockbreda. Is qualified to coach at U.E.F.A. ‘A’ licence standard.

Chris Nichol (Defender) Age 21. A hard tackling defender this is Chris's first season at Comber following spells with Bangor and Knockbreda.

Brent Reid (Midfielder) Age 26. Returning to the club this season after a sojourn to Ards Rangers, Brent has played his way into regular contention and is a tireless worker for the team.

David Brotherston (Midfielder) Age 19. Signed  this season from Ards and Groomsport, David is a skilful right sided midfielder who likes going forward.
