Whatever it takes ..........
Wherever it takes us ..........

I borrowed that slogan from a very high ranking national football team (no prizes for guessing who!) to start my team talk prior to our game against Malichians. It is the old football cliche about talking one game at a time only from a different slant. I wanted to stress that we can't worry about other teams, we cant project to forthcoming games; all we can do is give our next game the utmost attention, look after one game at a time and see where that takes us ! After conceding the opening goal last Saturday we fought back well and although our opposition caused us problems with the score at 2-1 we did go on to win very comfortably.

Before the commencement of the season we would have been delighted to know that in mid-March we would be sitting top of the league. In, fact after about 4 weeks of the current season the "R" word was heard coming from some quarters. So let's enjoy the moment!

If you are one of the many faithful fans who watch the first team week by week, thanks for your support. I hope you are pleased with the teams effort and, if so, let them know by encouraging them on to achieving Mission Impossible!

Finally, A few people have been impressed by the performance of Adam Welsh; his eight goals in 17 appearances have been quite significant. Another member of the Welsh family caught Kevin Monson's eye during the game against Malichians but that is probably another story!
