Two days after a heavy defeat at the Valley, Comber found themselves there again against another top team in the league. With a slightly changed back four, Comber started very well and had a couple of chances when Wilson and Walker failed to score. Larne then had a chance and took it well, going into the break one nil up.
The Comber midfield did well in the second half, with Millar and Childs working very hard battling for every ball. Yet again Manley was very strong in goal, but Larne eventually found the net, making it two nil. Another goal followed near the end, but the Comber lads should feel that they did themselves proud against a much stronger larne team, who are challenging for the league.
